Alice Matthews (nee Drake)  1934 – 2022

” It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Alice Matthews who departed peacefully at home on November 26th, 2022, at the age of 88.

She was a devoted wife to the love of her life Howard Matthews. Loving mother to Robert (Marie-Josée), Michael (Wendy), Donald (Brigitte), and Heather (Serge). A wonderful grandmother to Jessica (Tommy), Jennifer (Chris), Justin, Amanda (Patrick), Alex (Vanessa), Dominic, and Arielle (Chris). Great grandmother to Lili, Wilson, Jayla, and Lincoln. She leaves behind her dear brother Christopher. She will also be missed by her nieces Melanie (Blair), Laura (Keith), and her nephew Jason, along with many dear friends.

A celebration of life will take place on Friday, December 16th at 3:00 pm. Visitation will start at 1:00 pm at White and Sons Funeral home 3555 Metcalfe Street, Rawdon, J0K 1S0

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Montreal Children’s Hospital.”

Dear Howard, Robert, Heather, Donald, Michael and family. We are deeply saddened by the news about the sudden passing of Alice. We are so sorry for your loss. We were privileged to have Alice as a neighbour for all these years. Unfortunately, we won't be able to attend the services. Our love and thoughts are with you during this difficult time. Michael .
