Have great memories of going to Rawdon as a boy and swimming in the pool on the Dowie 'compound'. Vividly remember the 2 golf holes on either side of the driveway leading to the main house and Mr. Dowie encouraging me to fully explore the property .... then when Mr. Dowie told me it was time to call him Jim. :) He was always interested in what I was up to and I remember him as a caring, gentle and intelligent man .... and along with Clare, best of friends with my parents Barry and Gail Tyler. Condolences and love to Clare and family.

I'll never forget Jim's warmth and kindness or his dedication to his family. There was always a smile and a hug for me, even if years had passed since he'd seen me. He was truly a wonderful and generous man. My heartfelt sympathy to Clare, David, and Matt as you navigate this loss. I wish you all strength, peace, and healing. ♥
