Nuttall, Ivy Lily nee Worton

1930-2021

We are heartbroken to announce that Ivy passed away at the Santa Cabrini hospital on Friday January 15th, 2021 from complications following hip surgery. Beloved wife of the late Eric Nuttall. Loving mother of Karen ( Steve ), Steven ( Sylvie ), Gary and cherished dog Summer. Grandmother of Ryan (Tara), Brittany ( Dave), Mitchell (Courtney), great-grandmother of Keaton and Sienna. Ivy was predeceased by her parents Harry and Eliza Worton and brothers and sisters, Les, Jack, Mary, Cecil, Annie, Gwen, and Lorraine. She leaves behind extended family and friends who will remember her for her infectious joyous nature, generosity and beautiful smile. Ivy worked for Johnson and Johnson for many years and enjoyed decades of great times spent with family and friends and always had an open door to them. She loved to swim, travel and in later years spent much time watching tennis, golf, game shows and more specifically, she loved Judge Judy. Otherwise she always found ways to occupy herself including puzzles, music and reading. Ivy had a reputation for being a wonderful cook/baker and continued to do so just prior to her hospitalization. She was so grateful to have lived to 90 years old and felt blessed with the time she had been given.

A celebration of life and internment of ashes will take place at a later date, when it is safer to gather.

In lieu of flowers, Ivy suggested donations to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children or the SPCA, if you wish.
