In loving memory of a husband, father, grandfather, and friend who passed away suddenly on Tuesday, February 2nd, 2021.

Terry was known for his love of life, entertaining friends and family with generous pours of white wine, giving away his smoked salmon and making breakfast for Gladys after her weekly Sunday church service. He loved to tease and talk endlessly about fishing, cooking and making his “vintage” home wine. He took great care and loved Gladys and their Benji deeply. He had a generous spirit and always thought of others through random acts of kindness.

He is survived by his wife, Gladys Langois, daughter, Tanya, and her husband Allain Lauzon, his stepson Danny Delhanty, and his wife Lynn Laforest and their children Nikki and Connor.

A private cremation was held and a celebration of life will take place at a later date to be announced.

In lieu of flowers please donate to the Montreal Heart Institute Foundation.

Terry, your smile could light up the darkest room. I remember the first time you came to meet with friends at the Manchester. You were funny, kind and just a happy person. Such a pleasure to serve. You enjoyed talking about your wine making and your beautiful wife Gladys. You told me many of stories and we had many a laugh. Gladys, you and I became close over the years. You have the biggest heart I have ever seen. You are kind, generous, you do so very much for the community and your friends and family. I wish I were closer to have a coffee with you and give you a hug. Now the community, friends and family will’ Be there for you. Know that you are missed and in my thoughts every step of the way Gladys. I’m sure your sis can’t wait to come and stay with you and share time together. My sincere condolences go out to Terry’s family and friends, he is watching over you from above and waiting to meet you all again. God bless you and send you the strength and courage to go through these trying times.

Dad. You will be missed. There are no other words really. Maybe more will come to mind as it’s all a little surreal right now. Just know that Gladys will be taken care of so not to worry. Love you. Always. Say hi to Gran, Grandpa. And while you’re at it you should try to track down Allain’s dad Rêne. I know you two would have gotten up to no good had you met.
