Tough t’il the end, Johnny died after courageous battles with cancer and Alzheimer’s. On Sunday, July 18th, 2021 in his 75th year he leaves his wife, Brenda; sons Derek and Lee (Emilie Lafrance); his grandchildren Gabrielle, Tristan and Maia, who he loved so much; Julie Deschamps, Genevieve Robichaud; his brothers and sisters- Eleanor (late Bob Goodhand), Bill (Giselle), Carol (late John Shipton), late Barbara (Bob Lapare), Pete (Theresa), Alan (Anita); Sheppard family; many nieces and nephews; and countless friends. To know him was to know about his passion for hockey and “any team but the Canadiens.”
A celebration of life will take place at the Rawdon Golf Club – 3999 Lakeshore Drive, Rawdon, Qc., on Sunday, August 1st from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
In lieu of flowers a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Association would be greatly appreciated.
